Terry has a deep base of experience in employee and executive search and recruitment.  He has more than 30 years experience in a variety of human resources specialties including screening and selection, training and development, Alternative Dispute Resolution, and leadership development. The focus of his search practice is broad-based, consisting of Fortune 500 clients in a variety of business sectors: Consumer Packaged Goods (Frito-Lay, Kimberly Clark, Campbell Soup, Duracell, Kraft,), Restaurant and QSR (Sonic, Taco Bell, Pizza Hut, KFC, Steak & Ale), Sports & Entertainment (DIRECTV, NBA, TBS, 2002 Winter Olympics), Healthcare (Tenet Healthcare System, Providence Health System, VHA, Providence Service Corporation, Abbott Labs), Retail (Williams-Sonoma, Pier 1, 7-Eleven, Starbucks Coffee Company, GNC, Sprouts Farmers Market) and Technology (Compaq, Hitachi Data Systems). In addition, he has conducted executive searches for Charles Schwab, Delta Air Lines, Dallas Morning News, D Magazine, Cablevision, Texas Israel Chamber of Commerce, and Dispute Mediation Service. Mr. Patch has been quoted in The Wall Street Journal, D Magazine and Black Collegiate Magazine.

Some of his consulting engagements include: analyzing the feasibility of bringing amateur sports to the Dallas-Ft. Worth area; developing and implementing a Career Transition Seminar for administrative and mid-management level employees for the City of Dallas (1985); creating and producing a 30-minute videotape training program for Pier 1 Imports; developing a scholarship program for Frito-Lay for minority students with an interest in becoming entrepreneurs; developing and delivering negotiation and mediation skills training to Dallas Independent School District administrators; developing an Interview Guide for D Magazine; and implementing an extensive Career Transition Program for the City of Dallas’ laid-off associates (2009) through a sister enterprise, ctrp (career transition reset partners). Mr. Patch is the President of andre david and associates, inc., a firm that is a strategic partner with Coleman & Associates Consultants.

During a 15-year period, Mr. Patch held a variety of positions with Frito-Lay, Inc. in its Dallas headquarters and in its San Jose, CA manufacturing operations as well as multiple human resources positions (compensation, training, labor relations, staffing) with Argonne National Laboratory in Argonne, IL.

Mr. Patch is a member of the Texas Mediator Credentialing Association, the Texas Mediation Trainers Roundtable, and was a former panel member for mediators for The Public Employees Relations Board for St. Croix, USVI. Mr. Patch served as Vice President on the Board of Directors, Dispute Mediation Service and served on the Board of Directors, The Family Place. He is an active nursing home volunteer ombudsman for Senior Source and is a lifetime member of the National Black MBA Association and Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc. He was Past Business Relations Chairperson for the Dallas Chapter of NBMBAA. In addition, he served on the Advisory Council of the University of Texas at Austin, College of Communications. Mr. Patch has been a consultant to INROADS DALLAS and was a regular presenter for the Consortium for Graduate Study in Management’s annual orientation program.


Terry earned a Bachelor of Science degree from Chicago State University and a Master of Science degree from Loyola University. He received certification in Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) from Southern Methodist University.
